Timber, Bridge and Laminated 2-ply and 3-ply Mats

From the oil & gas industry’s upstream, midstream and downstream needs to environmental, utility and government requirements, we have our customers covered with high quality, reliable mats. With facilities and sawmills strategically located across the U.S., and mat inventory staged at regional facilities, Zealous can accommodate quick turnarounds and large volume requests. And for an economic shipping alternative, Zealous offers delivery via rail.

Our manufacturing partnership enables the production of high quality mats, both in standard dimensions and customized to your project’s specifications. Currently, Zealous offers Solid Oak/Mixed Hardwood constructed timber and bridge mats as well as laminated 2-ply and 3-ply Hardwood mats measuring up to 40 feet in length.

Solid Oak/Mixed Hardwood Constructed Timber and Bridge Mats
Zealous timber and bridge mats are manufactured from quality rough cut Oak and Mixed Hardwood. During assembly, each beam is inspected before placement and drilled with 1-1/4” bit and 1-1/2” counter bore. Each nut is tightened with ½” pneumatic impact for maximum strength. After a final inspection, the mat ends are painted and prepared for shipment.

Zealous Laminated 3-ply Mats
Zealous laminated 3-ply mats are manufactured from quality rough cut Oak and Mixed Hardwood (no Ash). During assembly, boards are inspected before placement and drilled with 7/16” bit and 1-1/2” counter bore (nailed mats also available). To ensure maximum longevity, each nut is tightened with ½” electric impact before the final inspection and painting process.
